Privacy Policy
Mow Coach uses only the information needed to provide visual lawn coaching, maintain your reports, manage subscriptions, and keep the service reliable.
Information we collect
We process the lawn photos you choose to upload and, when you select a video, four still frames sampled on your device. The original video stays on your device and is not uploaded. We also process generated coaching reports and scores, basic usage and error information, a random account identifier, and—only if you provide it—your email address. Apple or Google and RevenueCat process purchase and subscription information; Mow Coach does not receive your full payment card details.
How we use information
We use this information to analyze the visible appearance of your lawn, create and store your report history, enforce usage allowances, provide customer support, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and manage subscription access.
AI processing and service providers
Uploaded photos and locally sampled video frames are processed by Google’s Gemini service to generate visual coaching. We also use Supabase for authentication, database, private file storage, and server functions, and RevenueCat for subscription status. Apple and Google process app-store purchases under their own privacy policies. These providers process data on our behalf under their applicable terms.
Retention
Full-size uploaded photos and sampled video frames are deleted from Mow Coach storage immediately after a successful report. The original video remains on your device. If an upload or analysis is interrupted, temporary staging files are scheduled for removal after 24 hours and checked by an hourly cleanup process. A small report thumbnail and the generated report remain in your private history until you delete the report or your account. Billing and operational records may be retained as required for security, accounting, and legal obligations.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information only to the service providers described above, when you direct us to, or when required by law. We do not use your private lawn media for advertising.
Security
Media storage is private, access is restricted to your signed-in account, and provider credentials remain on protected server systems. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
Your choices
You may delete individual reports inside the app. You may permanently delete your account and associated reports and media in Settings, or follow the instructions on our account deletion page. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
Children
Mow Coach is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
